dont get me started on vista lol. my laptop is vista, and personally, i hate it. for the longest time, DEP kept me from playing some of my games, not to mention from personal opinion and several other ppl i no, XP has way better capabilities for gaming this vista. soon as i get the chance, reformatting to XP (though its going to b fun to reinstall everything after -_-)

Actually, Windows 7 so far - from my use is flawless.
Vista is good, if you know what under the hood. But, sadly due to people hating on something that they dont fully grasp Vista will be gone. Not only for its public image, but also that it typically takes 3-5 years for a new OS to take hold of the commercial market place. Being that is planned to be launched 3rd 1/4 of 2009, vista wont get its chance to redeem it self. Dont be suprized however, 7 is a spitting image of the V word.

Never had Vista, but I am sure somehow I am going to end up with vista later. A lot of people I know don't actually hate it.

7 looks just like it, but under the hood is totaly new.
Uses half the ram, finds duplicate folders, supports win 7, vista and xp drivers/programs. Its less clicks to get things done, the side bar doesnt really exist anymore, gadgets can be placed any where. Networking is more secure....

personaly i dotn like vista either, i think it makes everything too slow, and you need alot more RAM to run anything.."pointless" and more expensive for some people..
just sticking with xp for now only thing good about vista is the look, i like the look :)
