Success stories
Well, I thought this topic might be a nice idea:
I'd like to see any clan success stories. How clans were created, how they got popular/how they were populated with members. I personally don't have any (sadly), but I hope for this to be a small learning experience on how to get a clan running for me and everyone else.

The more I think about it, the more I like this idea Red :) I want to run with this, it could be a very effective tool to get people here. If I learned anything from my mom before she passed, it was that people love to talk about themselves and the things they do well. I would like to get an initial story to open a new thread with....

well I've done a couple of attempts to start a clan with some friends, our main problem was we picked an old game (rtcw ET) a great team shooter but its just so old its hard to find any new members.
we started with about 10 members witch the 2 of us knew liked the game well the 1st couple of days where a lot of fun but when ppl started to spend less time playing with just the 10 members and no visitors the servers soon died, the community on the forum also had about 10 members witch eventually lead to nothing... so my advice to any starters is make sure you either have a lot of members when you start or make sure its a game a lot of people play.

Well... Not a success story, but I guess we shouldn't just put success into this :P
I was thinking... Maybe I mightput up a website just for this type of thing, or maybe write a quick PHP script for it.
